First of all, the hard facts:
That’s right, you read that correctly. After internal discussions, the OC of the SM has decided to cancel the cutline. In other words, there will be no final round on Sunday, but every participant in the 2024 Swiss Championships will complete three rounds on the course in Samedan.
There is also important news on the accommodation front. The Swiss Championship 2024 will take place in the beautiful Engadine on a great course. The Engadin is a tourist region, so although there are many hotels, they may not be in the budget of all disc golfers. However, the local disc golf club “Discgolf Engiadina” has now been able to organize a civil protection facility and thus create an inexpensive overnight accommodation option (CHF 20 per night and person) for the players.
