Chili Open 2025

On March 15-16, the 20th anniversary of the Chili Open took place in Lörrach. Merry Chains Basel and Disc Golf Lörrach hosted the party. The course was, as always, in top shape and the weather was also mostly good. It only got a bit wetter on Sunday, but otherwise it was dry. On Saturday evening, an anniversary celebration with a party next to the course area took place alongside the spectacle on the course.

The field of participants was once again filled with some high-caliber players this year; and so it remained exciting in some categories until the end. I would particularly like to highlight the FPO category. While Maren Mossig led the field with three throws after the first round on Saturday, Natalie Holloköi managed the turnaround on Sunday and again outdistanced Maren by three throws. This allowed Natalie to win the season opener. In the MPO category, Tony Ferro had already shot a 1061-rated round on Saturday, which meant that he could no longer be stopped.
