As Lüku Schär said at the end: “I’ve been hoping for years that Stans would get its own Swisstour stop; the area is simply beautiful.” And so it was. The Blowflies Stans Disc Golf Club really went the extra mile to provide a great and challenging course for the Swisstour 2023.
However, the weather wanted to add an extra level of difficulty to the whole thing. While thunder and lightning were still rolling through the valley on Friday, things were a little more peaceful on Saturday. There was still plenty of wind, but at least the rain held off, so that only a few drops fell from time to time. On Sunday, Stans presented itself from its best side with sunshine and practically no wind. Another highlight apart from the tournament was probably the catering on Saturday. Those who had registered were really spoiled at the Culinarium Alpinum.
