The Junior’s Cup arose from the idea of starting a junior disc golf movement in Switzerland.
As the infrastructure and course design at regular tournaments are often not suitable for children, there are few opportunities to bring juniors into contact with disc golf. Although many courses in Switzerland are now suitable for beginners and children, juniors rarely meet up. This means that children often play together with adults, which is not particularly motivating for many junior players.
With this tournament series, we want to give many children the chance to get to know disc golf and play for the first time or simply compete with their peers.
