Here’s a little reminder, because soon (hopefully!) it’s time: from June 13-20, 2021, the Swiss Disc Golf Week will take place. Particular attention is paid to getting to know the new courses in Samnaun, Pontresina, Amden, Stans and Hausen am Albis, but also the courses on the Kerenzerberg and in Winterthur. Here is the planned program (changes are unfortunately reserved due to the current situation):

Samnaun 18 lanes between 30-75m (https://www.samnaun.ch/de/aktivitaeten-erlebnisse/discgolf) 2 laps a 18 lanes = start 1.Around 10 a.m./ Start 2. Round 2 p.m.
Samnaun prepares the course especially on the corresponding weekend for us from the Disc Golf Week (official opening for 2021 is on June 25th). We can thank you for this accommodating service by serving the local gastronomy and hotel industry. - Mon 14 Jun

The current stage today is that the fixed baskets will be standing but that maybe the teas are not fixed yet. After possible two different layouts, we can give feedback on the layout design afterwards. It is clear whether there will be a joint barbecue in the evening. - Tue June 15

Amden = Course in planning = visit of the site. Possibly throw some possible tracks = No baskets are set. Whether test throws are possible depends on the vegetation.

Kerenzerberg ( https://www.szk.ch/sportzentrum/bewegen/outdoor-sport/discgolf.html ) = The sports facility is under renovation. 11 of 18 baskets can be played.

The tracks can only be defined at very short notice as the conversion is still taking place. More detailed information will not be possible until game day. - Fri June 18

The course is located on a school complex. The school is informed about our coming. The plant is affected by the school operation and we have to look at it on site. The Blowflys support us with their local knowledge so that the school and we get past each other well. - Sat 19 June
Day of the Winterthur sports clubs. Disc Dimension will also be represented and offer something to the public within the framework of Disc Golf. A small course or a putting station at the Gutschik site is planned.
Two rounds will then be played on the Grützefeld as part of The Disc Golf Week.
2. Laps a 11 lanes on the course Grützefeld. Start Round 1. + 2. 2 p.m.

oralpen Eagles / Hausen am Albis ( http://voralpeneagles.ch/ ) Parcours in development. According to the “Prealpen Eagles” it should be possible for us to play 14-18 tracks. There are two locations to choose from at the moment. Hausen am Albis or Zugerberg. More details can only be provided before Disc Golf Week.
2 Laps of 14-18 lanes = start 1. Round 9 a.m./ Start round 2. 1 p.m.
All tournaments can be played or only individual ones.
Registration via Metrix (https://discgolfmetrix.com/1595087). If nothing else is stated on Metrix, you will meet a quarter of an hour before the start of the lap at track No. 1 from the respective course. Pre-registration via Metrix is welcome. The number of places is defined. They will be awarded upon receipt of the applications.
Every single round is played as a tournament. This also allows you to play only one round per day. In total, 14 rounds played will be distributed on The Disc Golf Week. The categories men (Open), Women (Women), and Novice (mixed) are offered at the individual rounds. The first two categories are for the licensed and the novice category for inexperienced people who want to participate in a round.
For the final evaluation, 8 of the 14 rounds (tournaments) are evaluated.
Exclusivity for the courses will usually not be possible. This means that the places can also be used by others. Accordingly, it requires flexibility from us.
The individual rounds of Disc Golf Week are switched on to Metrix. If there will be news about the individual courses, this can be viewed via the corresponding page on Metrix.
Corona conditionally can not be said in how far we can perform individual rounds or the entire disc golf week in June. The responsibility for travel and overnight stays is the responsibility of the participants.
