October, Swiss Tour conclusion, the beautiful Seeburgpark in Kreuzlingen – they belong together.
A record number of 93 players came to Lake Constance.
The weather, miraculous; the temperatures, pleasant; the wind, kept itself elegantly in the background.
On the 18-lane course, which was extended compared to last year’s 15-lane course, a largely balanced field of participants was presented. Only Natalie Holloköi (Women Open) and Julia Burkhardt (Master Women) were able to put themselves in a safe position before the last tracks. In the two strongest men’s categories Open and Master 40+ it took a clean -9 round to achieve victory. Lukas Schär and Raffa Dreier put in this brilliant performance and thus not only got the best performance of the day and the tournament victory, but also the victory in the annual classification on the last tracks of the 2021 season. In the categories Master 50+ and Master 60+, the winners of the annual ranking were already determined before the tournament. However, Paul Francz had to admit defeat in the fight for the tournament victory Jürgen Disch, while Werner Kuster was able to save his lead just ahead of Fritz Hürzeler to the finish. The victory in the junior category both on the day of the tournament and in the annual classification, Lino Tresch attached himself to the chest with a balanced performance.
As in the previous year, the whole thing was rounded off by an Ace at the K2 edition 2021. However, Simon Achermann did not choose the famous track 1, but immediately defeated the sixth most difficult track 6 in one throw!
The great external conditions, a dedicated team of helpers of the Chainhunters supported by the workshop of the city of Kreuzlingen and numerous, interested lapwings ensured a worthy conclusion to the disc golf season 2021.
