The purpose of the association is set out in the statutes, namely to promote and spread the sport of disc golf in Switzerland. In doing so, we are guided on the one hand by international circumstances and on the other by national needs.
What the association does
We represent the interests of our members vis-à-vis other organizations at home and abroad.
We maintain contacts with other DiscGolf associations and develop concepts for spreading the sport of DiscGolf.
In cooperation with the clubs and other organizations, we organize an annual Swisstour with several tournaments.
We organize an annual Swiss championship in cooperation with the clubs and other organizations.
We monitor game operations and ensure that tournaments are carried out according to established standards.
We publish the official DiscGolf Rules of Play (German edition of the PDGA Rules of Play) and are responsible for all questions related to the rules.
We help to set up new clubs.
We sanction international events that are held in Switzerland (Eurotour, European or World Championships).
We support Swiss European Championship and World Championship participants financially (if the association’s funds allow).
